Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to run metal forming machines such as press brakes, rolls, drill presses. Radial arm drill presses, shears, metal saws, as well as the ability to operate a plasma cutter. A strong organizational skill set with the ability to read measuring equipment such as rulers, micrometers, and angle finders is required. Work from blueprints, as well as the ability to perform basic math.

Responsibilities:

• Operate metal forming machines such as press brakes, rolls, drill presses. Radial arm drill presses, shears, metal saws, as well as the ability to operate a plasma cutter
• Work from blueprints, specifications, and job layouts to produce close-tolerance components
• Diagnose and rectify tooling problems and machine malfunctions
• Perform quality checks using a variety of precision measuring instruments
• Ability to edit programs is a plus.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 2 years+ experience operating, press brakes, rolls, drill presses, shears, Radial arm drill, and plasma cutter
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job layouts
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, gauges, calipers, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting as required

The base salary range for this position is $26, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
