Qualifications and Experience: Licensed or certified Athletic Trainer (current and in good standing) Previous experience in a school or sports setting is highly valued Strong knowledge of sports injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with coaches, parents, and healthcare professionals Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Adaptable to changing environments, especially during peak athletic seasons Responsibilities: Provide immediate care to student-athletes during practices and games Design and implement injury prevention and rehabilitation programs Develop emergency action plans for athletic events Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation progressCollaborate with coaches, school staff, and medical professionals to ensure optimal athlete health Educate students on safe practices and injury prevention Be present during peak sports seasons, primarily football and basketball In this role, youll be central to the health and athletic performance of students, guiding them through injury recovery and helping foster lifelong healthy habits.
