Host - Hostess

Night Owl Pizza & Drinks in South Scottsdale is hiring hosts/hostesses. We’re looking for 2 years of relevant work experience. We require a sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, and an ability to stay organized and calm. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests with warmth and efficiency Manage waitlists and reservations using Toast Waitlist Keep the host stand and entrance organized and inviting Anticipate guest needs and communicate clearly with FOH and BOH teams Answer guest questions about the menu, venue, and current events Support floor team by helping reset tables and maintain flow during peak hours Take phone to go orders and interact with delivery drivers Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of host/hostess or guest services experience in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and multitasking skills Calm under pressure and able to prioritize in a busy service setting Positive attitude and team-first mentality Basic familiarity with POS systems and waitlist management tools (Toast preferred) Availability for at least 3 shifts per week, including weekends Benefits $12–$15/hr base pay (based on experience) + tips ($4–$12/hr average additional) Evening shifts with set schedules available Food & Beverage discounts + shift meal Growth & advancement opportunities Health benefits for full-time employees A high-energy, music-driven environment with a supportive and fun team
