Vehicle Technician

Our client, a well-established independent garage in Andover with over 60 years of service, is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. Benefits of the Vehicle Technician: Salary up to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications 29 days annual leave plus your birthday off Access to in-house technical training and development programmes Personal use of the workshop outside core hours Modern working conditions and equipment Opportunity to be part of a long-standing local business Duties of the Vehicle Technician: Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles Accurately diagnose faults and report findings to the Workshop Manager Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and company procedures Follow manufacturer guidelines and work to high-quality standards Maintain a high level of productivity and work efficiently within team targets Assist with basic vehicle inspections and MOT testing (training provided if necessary) Requirements of a Vehicle Technician: No formal qualifications are essential; practical, "time served" experience is highly regarded An IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is advantageous Valid UK driving licence with minimal points A motivated team player with a commitment to quality workmanship Individuals with a valid Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence are preferred but not mandatory; training available for suitable individuals Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure in a busy environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Allscreens Nationwide Ltd
