Apprentice Commercial HVAC InstallersLennox AES has immediate positions available for Apprentice Commercial HVAC installers. Apprentices travel nationally and work under the supervision of our Crew Leaders, typically on teams of 4 to 6 members. Ideal candidates will have experience in commercial HVAC equipment replacements including rooftop units, adapter curbs, HVAC electrical knowledge and construction safety.60-70 hour work weeksWhat You Will Be DoingApprentice applicants must have 1 year experience in the trade working under the direction/supervision of a Journeyman or Master HVAC mechanicAbility to travel throughout the U.S. on 3 to 4 week deployment cyclesApprentice should have knowledge of OSHA construction safety guidelinesWillingness to work overtime hours when requiredAbility to work in outdoor elements (roofs) in hot and cold weather conditionsAbility to read and comprehend company policies, procedures and job duties.What We Are Looking ForIdeal candidates will have 1 year of experience in commercial HVAC equipment replacements including rooftop units, adapter curbs, HVAC electrical knowledge and construction safety.Ability to work overtimeWillingness to travel: 100% (Required)Work Location: On the roadLanguage: English (Required)License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)National Background CheckRequires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experienceEmployment Pre-requisites (ALL Candidates)National Background CheckPre-Employment Drug ScreeningMotor Vehicle Records Check (MVR)What We OfferCompensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $18 – $24 /hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
