Highway Equipment OperatorGoodhue County is actively recruiting qualified applicants for a Highway Equipment Operator located in the Cannon Falls shop of the Public Works department.Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Snow plowing, ice control and sandingMaintenance of bituminous road surfacesHighway Right-of-Way maintenancePreventative maintenance on trucks, equipment, buildings and groundsGravel road maintenance and bituminous highway shoulderingMinimum QualificationsHigh school education or equivalent and two or more years' experience in the operation of heavy equipment and/or a Technical College certification in equipment operation.Class "A" Commercial Driver's License or a Class "B" license and obtain a Class "A" within 6 months of employment.Salary & BenefitsCounty employees receive competitive pay and a generous benefit offering.
