Registered Nurse (RN)

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) where you will provide high-quality care for patients recovering from anesthesia. This position requires proficiency in multiple specialties including perioperative, endoscopic, and recovery nursing.

Work Schedule

• 10-hour shifts: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Thursday
• Occasional Fridays when on call
• Daily shift hours may vary by department
• Weekend requirements: Every 5th weekend, holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the PACU, ensuring safe recovery from anesthesia
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across perioperative, endoscopy, and recovery departments
• Start and maintain IV lines efficiently

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current outpatient PACU experience
• Experience in perioperative care
• Endoscopy experience is required
• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred
• Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred
• Experience in small critical access facilities is preferred
• Candidates must have their own vehicle
• Current Vermont RN license or Compact license is required
• Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required
