• Position: Critical Care Physician / Intensivist, locum tenens
• Location: Boise, Idaho 83706
• Start Date: 7/27/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Varied days and nights, 7:00 AM-7:00 PM and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,550-$8,100
• Setting: Adult ICU / Level II Trauma
• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60-90 days

Job Requirements

• Board Certified in Critical Care
• Fellowship training in Critical Care required
• Active Idaho medical license or active IMLC with proof of LOQ
• ACLS, DEA, and CSR required
• Comfortable performing ICU procedures as needed
• Willingness to cover both required coverage blocks
• Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• NPDB report pulled within the last month required at presentation

Responsibilities

• Round on and admit ICU patients
• Provide occasional pulmonary consults
• Manage care for adult and trauma patients in a high-acuity ICU environment
• Cover day and night shifts as assigned
• Support family medicine residents occasionally in a supervisory capacity
• Document care accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with APPs and the broader ICU team to deliver high-quality patient care
