Civil/Structural Designer

Nesco Resource is supporting an established EPC firm in Houston that is experiencing increased project demand. We are seeking experienced Civil/Structural Designers with advanced 3D plant modeling capabilities in AVEVA E3D and/or Smart 3D (S3D).

This is an industrial power generation design role supporting full plant design execution — not commercial construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced 3D modeling and design within AVEVA E3D and/or S3D environments
• Model structural steel, pipe racks, equipment foundations, and support structures
• Design platforms, ladders, access systems, and miscellaneous steel
• Coordinate with Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Process teams within a multi-discipline 3D plant model
• Support geothermal and simple cycle gas turbine power projects
• Participate in project design reviews and model coordination efforts

Qualifications

• Strong experience in AVEVA E3D and/or Smart 3D (S3D)
• Experience supporting industrial facilities such as:
  • Power generation
  • Refining
  • Petrochemical
  • Industrial infrastructure
• Background in structural steel and foundation modeling/design
• Ability to work effectively within multi-discipline EPC project teams
• Experience with full plant 3D modeling environments preferred
