Position Summary:

We are seeking a Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Coordinator who will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock and other.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct annual inventory audit. Coordinate with trucking vendors as appropriate and determine shipping priorities and methods required to meet shipping schedules.
• Prepare outgoing orders for shipment and arrange shipping transportation that optimizes service and cost.
• Utilize customer websites for shipments.
• Examine and verify contents of incoming and outgoing shipments for quality and quantity against records such as orders, invoices, or packing slips.
• Utilize shipping reports to maintain OTD metrics by coordinating with appropriate planning personnel.
• Inform appropriate parties and document discrepancies or nonconformities impacting billing, production or quality.
• Investigate and resolve or recommend resolution for shipping and receiving issues – contact appropriate parties to rectify problems.
• Ensure all transactions are recorded timely and accurately to reflect an accurate inventory position at any time – conduct annual inventory audit.
• Assist with warehouse duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders and or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock.
• Clean warehouse – including the removal of debris and reorganizing inventory.
• Abide by IPP’s safety and Health Policies and Procedures including wearing proper PPE, maintaining a safe work environment, including a clean driving record.
• Other duties as required

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift experience required. Certificate preferred.
• Valid driver’s license. Must pass MVR background check.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse setting receiving and storing products.
• Strong computer knowledge and experience with scanning equipment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to maintain accurate detailed records.
• Good communication and organizational skills

Physical Conditions:

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Stand or sit for extended periods of time.

Work Environment:

• This position will work under general warehouse conditions; however, it may be required to walk or move to other areas of the building to interact with other departments.
• May need to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Rate will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
