Faves is building the future of athlete-backed commerce. We’re the first sports-tech platform designed to truly connect athletes, brands, and fans by combining athlete-owned storefronts, shoppable recommendations, and real attribution data. Faves turns the products athletes actually use into a scalable, measurable growth channel for brands and a sustainable business for athletes.

Since launching this fall, hundreds of olympic and professional athletes are already live on the platform, spanning endurance, leagues, action sports, and beyond. About The Role:

Faves is hiring a Director, Athlete Experience , to strategically grow our top-earning and high-potential athletes across the platform. You will work closely with some of the most influential athletic talent, ensuring they have the resources, insights, and hands‑on support to maximize their success on Faves.

This is an athlete‑facing role where you’ll provide both high-touch support and scalable guidance. You’ll own and grow a portfolio of athletes, act as a trusted advisor, and collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Marketing, Strategy, and Data to deliver an exceptional experience while surfacing insights that drive Faves growth.

Your Impact

Strategic Growth

Help grow Faves presence in lifestyle sports through both strategic partnerships and 1:1 onboarding. Partner directly with athletes to adopt best practices, unlock brand partnership opportunities, and build storefronts that reflect how they actually live, train, and compete.

Performance & Insights

Turn athlete data into an actionable growth strategy. Monitor storefront performance and surface tailored recommendations that drive measurable results. Know which athletes are close to a breakthrough and make it happen.

High‑Touch Service

Be the person athletes actually trust to call. Resolve issues fast. Proactively communicate. Ensure every athlete in your portfolio feels like they have a genuine advocate at Faves.

Cross‑Functional Voice

Bring the athlete perspective into every room. Work with Product, Content, Brand, and Data to surface what athletes need and what’s not working. You’re the bridge between the field and the office.

Who We’re Looking For

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in athlete relations, creator/talent management, account management, or sports partnership roles.

• Demonstrated track record of building high‑trust relationships with elite or professional athletes within sports like: tennis, golf, soccer, basketball and action sports.

• Strong commercial instincts, you understand how to connect athlete authenticity to revenue without compromising either.

• Data literacy, you can read a performance dashboard, identify what’s underperforming, and build a plan to fix it.

• Excellent communication. Clear writer, confident speaker, someone athletes and internal teams both want in the room.

• Genuine knowledge of the sports verticals you're working within. You don’t need to be a pro. You do need to have the cultural fluency of one.

• Familiarity with affiliate programs, creator commerce platforms, or sports sponsorship ecosystems is a strong plus.
