About Our Healthcare System

Our organization serves as the primary healthcare provider for Madison and its surrounding areas, delivering comprehensive medical care to residents of southeastern Indiana and parts of northern Kentucky, with a primary and secondary catchment area of approximately 60,000. In 2022, we became part of a larger healthcare family based in Louisville, Kentucky. We emphasize a family-centered approach to care, offering a wide array of services including inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, orthopedic, pediatric, cancer care, and intensive care. Our 86-bed facility features a 24/7 emergency department, a heliport for critical care transport, a comprehensive rehabilitation center with aquatic services, a joint replacement program, women's health and maternity services, and a fully integrated cancer care center.

Position Overview
  • Sign-on Bonus: $60,000, along with a $100,000 recruitment incentive for residents or a $60,000 retention bonus for experienced candidates.
  • Work Schedule: Full-time positions available with four-day work weeks or part-time options in an outpatient-only setting.
  • Continuing Medical Education: Opportunities for CME within our organization, with additional funds available for further education.
  • Support Staff: Each office is equipped with a multifunctional team led by a practice manager to oversee daily operations, including billing, coding, recruiting, and information services, allowing physicians to concentrate on patient care.
  • Recognition: Our organization is recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance as a Patient-Centered Medical Home.
Key Responsibilities

The physician will be tasked with:

  • Documenting a comprehensive medical history for each patient in the electronic medical record, covering chief complaints, current conditions, personal history, and family history.
  • Conducting thorough physical examinations for each patient.
  • Evaluating reports and findings from tests and personal examinations to assess the patient's medical condition, including diagnosing injuries or illnesses and formulating prognoses.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible.
