Workday Integration Engineer

Role: Workday / UKG Pro Integration Consultant

Location: Remote

Duration: 6+ Months

Experience: 6-10+ years
We are looking for an experienced Workday - UKG Pro Integration Consultant to design, develop, configure, and implement an API-based integration between Workday and UKG Pro. The resource should be hands-on and capable of managing the integration from technical design through development, testing, UAT, and production deployment.
Responsibilities

Review existing UKG documentation, data mappings, and integration requirements.

Design the integration between Workday and UKG Pro.

Configure required Workday APIs/Web Services.

Configure required UKG Pro APIs/integration components.

Develop and implement the end-to-end API integration.

Handle data mapping, transformation, validation, and error handling.

Prepare and execute Unit Testing.

Support integration testing and UAT.

Troubleshoot and resolve integration/data issues.

Support production deployment and post-go-live activities.

Manage project activities, timelines, dependencies, risks, and status updates.

Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on Workday Integration experience.

Strong UKG Pro integration/API experience.

Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and Web Services.

Knowledge of Workday EIB, RaaS, Studio, and integration security.

Understanding of HR/HCM employee and payroll data.

Experience with data mapping and transformation.

Experience supporting Unit Testing, UAT, and production deployment.

Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Preferred: Previous hands-on experience implementing a Workday UKG Pro integration.

Key Requirement
The candidate should be able to independently own the Workday-UKG Pro integration from design and configuration through development, testing, UAT, and go-live.
