Physical Therapist - Full-time

Located where miles of breathtaking ocean views meet dense coastal forests, Adventist Health Mendocino County has a rich history serving community members on the coast since 1971. We are comprised of a 25-bed critical access hospital and offer a range of services in Fort Bragg. The Mendocino Coast offers a small-town atmosphere and is known for its natural beauty, from the smallest to the tallest redwoods in the world, to glass bottom beaches and the only oceanfront botanical gardens in the United States. With whale watching, fishing, hiking trails and many more outdoor adventures readily available, this coastal region is a place to immerse yourself in its landscape and history. Serves as co-leader in interdisciplinary approach to patient groups. Education and Work Experience: ~ Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree: Required; only if obtained license on or after January 2016; Physical Therapy licensure in all applicable states of practice: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Physical Therapy licensure in state of practice: Completes evaluations to ensure quality standards and addresses assessment areas that require attention. Provides therapy interventions using appropriate treatment protocols and techniques. Establishes individualized care and discharge plans and ensures plans are communicated to appropriate parties.Adventist Health is committed to the safety and wellbeing of our associates and patients.
