Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries in an urgent care setting
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including labs, X-rays, and imaging studies
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
• Perform clinical procedures such as wound care, suturing, splinting, and injections
• Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment and follow-up care
• Accurately document patient encounters and maintain thorough medical records
• Triage and manage patient flow to ensure efficient, high-quality care delivery

Requirements:

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current NCCPA certification (PA-C)
• Active Florida state PA license or ability to obtain licensure
• Experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Strong clinical decision-making and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
