Registered Nurse - Float

Join a dynamic nursing team as a Float RN, providing direct patient care across multiple departments including Emergency, Med/Surg, ICU, and potentially the Family Birth unit. Responsibilities Include Applying medical-surgical nursing standards to enhance patient care and quality of life. Building effective relationships with patients and families, advocating for their needs. Developing and implementing personalized care plans using the nursing process. Assessing physical, cultural, social, and emotional factors to inform management strategies. Collaborating with interprofessional teams to coordinate care, set goals, and evaluate outcomes. Educating patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures. Mentoring colleagues and promoting a positive work environment. Using evidence-based practices tailored to patient age and clinical needs. Performing point-of-care testing and other assigned duties. Qualifications Include Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent. 1-2 years RN experience in critical care settings preferred. Current RN license and BLS certification for the respective state. Strong communication, assessment, and leadership skills. Physical demands: frequent standing, walking, lifting, and data entry, with occasional patient handling.
