Job Description: Bartender (Rooftop Bar)

Category: Food and Beverage

Status: Non-Exempt

Reports To: Beverage/Bar Manager

The Bartender position is responsible for managing drink orders to keep customers satisfied during meals or social gatherings. The Bartender will have extensive knowledge of common drinks, which they use to recommend drinks to customers, prepare cocktails, pour beers, and properly decant wines. This role requires more than just mixing drinks, you will be an integral part of a sophisticated guest experience, providing exceptional service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining elevated standards in both presentation and professionalism. Location: In-person in Las Vegas, NV, 89109: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Responsibilities:

• Craft and serve high-quality cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits with precision and consistency.
• Deliver refined, engaging, and personalized service to each guest, anticipating their needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times.
• Possess deep knowledge of the cocktail menu, wine list, and premium spirit offerings.
• Follow all opening, closing, and side work procedures with attention to detail.
• Accurately handle cash, credit cards, and POS transactions.
• Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Support barbacks and other team members to ensure seamless service.
• Remain composed and efficient during peak service periods and rooftop events.
• Represent the brand with professionalism and style, embodying the elevated guest experience we strive to deliver.

Skills / Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• At least 3 years of bartending experience in a fast-paced restaurant bar, casino bar, and/or other bar environment required.
• Ability to make cocktails.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation practices.
• Must have cash handling experience and basic math skills.
• Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to effectively interact with guests and fellow team members in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Must have a proven record of following Company's appearance standards, and will follow policies (uniform, grooming and appearance standards).
• Ability to have a flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Must be able to obtain a Nevada Food Handlers Card.
• Must be able to obtain a Nevada TAM Card.
• Must possess Sheriff's card (if you need one, we will send you with a referral to obtain).
• The ability to submit to a background check and drug test is required.

Physical Requirements:

• Work in an open-air environment and move throughout the space.
• Must possess the ability to lift, bend, and kneel.
• Must be comfortable carrying trays, handling glassware, and navigating tight spaces.
• Must be able to use the staircase to access the rooftop bar, and work/stand on your feet for extended periods.
• Must be able to stand or walk for an 8-hour shift.
• Must be able to lift independently up to 30lbs and 75lbs with assistance.
• The ability to work in environments that can be smoky, noisy, hot, cold, or humid.
