GM Parts Counter SpecialistMangino Buick GMC is currently seeking a skilled and experienced GM Parts Counter Specialist to join our team! We’re looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of automotive parts and accessories who can confidently assist both retail and internal customers with their needs. The ideal candidate will have a background in GM parts, prior CDK system experience, and a customer-first attitude.We're searching for someone with a positive, professional demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Solid computer and phone skills are essential, and prior experience in automotive parts sales is a plus. This is a full-time position that includes a weekly salary plus a monthly bonus.Key Responsibilities:Assist retail customers, wholesale customers and service technicians in identifying and ordering the correct parts in a timely and courteous mannerOversee the parts sales process from start to finishRespond to phone inquiries with pricing, availability, and detailed product informationDeliver exceptional customer service to both internal departments and external clientsAccurately pull, stage, and fulfill parts orders from inventoryAlert the Parts Manager to any urgent stock shortages or supply issuesCommunicate with customers about the status of their orderConsistent with follow-up with the internal and external customersInform service advisors and customers when special-order parts arriveCoordinate with the body shop to ensure complete and timely delivery of all partsTag and organize parts for delivery with proper job numbers and customer identificationEnsure internal parts requests are correctly charged to service repair ordersBe able to read and understand the electronic parts catalogLocate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders as necessaryPerform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the departmentBenefits:Health insurance – multiple optionsDental insuranceVision insurance401k retirementPaid sick leaveLife InsuranceLong-term Disability InsuranceOptional Aflac Supplemental InsuranceQualifications:GM Parts Experience PreferredCDK Experience PreferredWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
