TAX SENIOR / SUPERVISORGrowing regional CPA firm in need of a Tax Senior for their San Francisco team. The role offers competitive benefits, flexible work hours, and a clear path to advancement.ResponsibilitiesExecutes various accounting and tax tasks as directed by supervisors.Displays expertise in technical skills, quality of work, and adherence to professional standards.Guides and trains assistants as needed and reviews their work.Prepares and organizes working papers; conducts procedures to verify accuracy of client financial data.Completes complex tax returns and filings for dissolution or liquidation.Offers tax planning suggestions to higher-level management.Writes routine client correspondence and management letters.Oversees staff accountants and assistants, providing guidance and reviewing their work.Qualifications3-5 years of public accounting experience, showing growth in accounting complexity and tax knowledge.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting.Minimum of 40 hours of annual continuing professional education requirement.Active CPA license or in process of obtaining, with AICPA membership if applicable.
