Associate Attorney (Chicago)

Our attorneys do far more than just research and paperwork. You will be a valued member of our litigation practice group responsible for all aspects of litigation. Ideal candidates will have experience/knowledge in business/commercial litigation, life/health/disability, ERISA and or employment litigation all highly desirable but not required.

You will work closely with partners and senior associates and will be responsible for a variety of duties including:

• Drafting pleadings and motions
• Preparing and reviewing discovery along with brief writing
• Conducting legal research
• Managing client commutations
• Prepare for pre-trial activities and assist in trial preparation

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience
• Knowledge and passion of litigation
• JD from accredited law school
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with legal research and writing of pleadings

Firm will consider someone who is currently waiting for their admission to the Illinois State Bar.
