Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses of patients' conditions to develop tailored treatment plans aimed at restoring movement and strength.
• Administer a wide range of physical therapy treatments, utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and therapeutic modalities for various musculoskeletal disorders.
• Educate patients and their families on effective movement techniques, preventive measures, and home exercise regimens to foster ongoing recovery outside clinical settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment strategies, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care for complex cases, enhancing overall patient outcomes through coordinated treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic patients dealing with conditions such as joint pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. Our diverse patient demographic ranges from active athletes to older adults seeking to regain mobility and improve their quality of life. Your role as a PT will be pivotal in guiding these individuals on their road to recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited institution.
• Active physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey, with current board registration.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, particularly focused on orthopedic patients.
• Proficient understanding of neuromusculoskeletal conditions and advanced physical therapy techniques.
• High level of interpersonal and communication skills necessary for effective patient interaction and teamwork.

Compensation and Benefits
