Job Details Detroit Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Telemetry for a nursing job in Hamtramck, Michigan. Responsibilities Assist medical and nursing staff in continuous monitoring of patient ECG rhythms and maintain monitoring equipment. Initiate tracing when patient rhythm changes and immediately alert nursing personnel. Monitor rate limits and differentiate irregularities due to patient rhythm changes versus machine malfunction; promptly alert repair personnel if needed. Perform a variety of clerical and receptionist duties under direct supervision, including operating an online computer terminal to transcribe orders and enter, retrieve, or correct patient information. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. Previous hospital experience preferred. Six months of prior job experience involving substantial computer usage, or equivalent combination of coursework and experience. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
