plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of a healthcare facility. Coordinators serve as the central point of communication between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff, helping maintain a well-organized, patient-focused environment. Duties/Responsibilities: Manage patient scheduling, appointments, and confirmations Maintain accurate and confidential medical records Coordinate communication between medical staff and patients Supervise office operations and support staff Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) Order and manage office supplies and equipment Provide exceptional customer service and resolve patient inquiries Implement via education, training, and support quality initiatives Required Skills/Abilities: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in medical office software and EHR systems (Meditech preferred) Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare procedures Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred) Prior leadership experience in a medical or healthcare setting Effective Date: 12/1/2025 Revision Date(s): NA
