Position Overview

As an Electric Apprentice , you will work alongside experienced electricians to learn and perform residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, eager to grow, and passionate about mastering the electrical craft.

Requirements

• Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems
• Learn how to troubleshoot wiring, circuits, fixtures, breakers, and electrical components
• Support in running conduit, pulling wire, and setting electrical panels
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Follow all safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and company standards
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers as needed
• Participate in continuous technical training and skill development
• Uphold Heart of Ohio's values of professionalism, quality, and excellent service

Qualifications

• Strong interest in the electrical trade and desire to become a licensed electrician
• No experience required - training is provided
• Must be comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and ladders
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and eagerness to learn
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions

Employees must be able to pass pre-employment screening including a criminal background check, motor vehicle check and drug screening. Maintaining eligibility to operate company vehicles is a fundamental job requirement.
