And you can too, so bring your energy to ours.As Operations Technician I, you’ll perform a variety of tasks, including supporting pipeline operations and safely maintaining facility equipment. Accurate record-keeping and a focus on safety will bring success in this role!Your work will challenge you, and with our Core Values to guide you, you’ll quickly learn and grow with us.Responsibilities/Expectations:Performs various tasks to safely maintain facility equipment and support pipeline operations, inspecting/supervising equipment and maintaining operation/technical standards and/or governmental requirementsCollaborates with others to discover solutions to technical or operational problemsFollows all Company policies and applies appropriate operating and maintenance proceduresAcquires knowledge of and adheres to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assetsOversees general knowledge of site/location/equipment/specific permits and complianceCompletes assigned reports, logs and maintains accurate records of process operations and performance of preventative maintenance on equipmentOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: High School Diploma/GEDPreferred: Associates or two-year technical degree; minimum six (6) months mechanical, technical, or controls systems experience in the oil and gas industry or operations technician summer internship with Associates DegreePhysical and Environment Work Requirements:Must be willing to:Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spacesCarry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as neededStand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of timeWork at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)Use hand toolsShift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as the need arisesMay be required to work overtime, 10-12 hour shifts and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight staysOther Requirements:Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving recordDemonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processesDemonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and PC skills and basic knowledge of Process Control Systems and Programmable Logic Controllers#LI-KR2Hourly/Salary Guidelines:(Minimum, Midpoint, Maximum)$28 - $37 - $45Why Choose Williams?We are committed to providing our employees with competitive compensation and benefits as part of your Total Rewards package to help protect your current and future physical, emotional, and financial health.
