The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to assess and address the care needs of individuals and groups. /n/nKey Responsibilities/n /n - Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient care needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. /n - Provide and coordinate nursing care for patients, ensuring effective communication and education with families regarding discharge and aftercare planning. /n - Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, supporting both individual and group care settings. /n - Document, report, and verify all patient information in accordance with established policies and procedures. /n - Monitor patient safety and report any potential risks to physicians to ensure quality outcomes. /n - Create a supportive and customer-friendly atmosphere while adhering to quality improvement standards. /n - Deliver care across various clinical settings, accommodating diverse patient populations and implementing patient-centered strategies. /n - Function as a clinical leader, delegating tasks and promoting staff development. /n - Engage in continuous review of patient care protocols and standards, contributing feedback for process improvements. /n - Utilize resources efficiently and support training for direct care staff as needed. /n - Model the organization’s mission and values through professionalism, effective communication, and time management skills. /n - Support a recovery-focused environment in residential settings, adhering to person-centered approaches. /n - Demonstrate commitment to the healing ministry of providing compassionate care that respects diverse backgrounds and beliefs. /n /n/nQualifications/n /n - Minimum of 2 years of behavioral health experience. /n - Pediatric nursing experience is required. /n - BLS certification is mandatory. /n - Active Michigan state nursing license is required. /n /n/nWork Schedule/n This position guarantees 40 hours per week, with a requirement for every other weekend.
