This position involves providing specialized patient care on a unit that may involve oncology experience. Candidates with oncology background and completion of the American Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course are preferred. The role requires administration of non-vesicant chemotherapy following unit-specific training and orientation. Job Details: Schedule: Night shift; 12-hour shift hours; minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, a minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, oncology experience preferred, completion of the American Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course or oncology certification required before administering vesicant chemotherapy, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and applicable state and location licensing requirements Preferred Qualifications: Experience with oncology patients and unit-specific orientation completion Float: Float rotation may be required Additional Information: On the unit, staff are expected to complete the ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course to administer vesicant chemotherapy. After completing a unit-based oncology course and orientation, staff administer non-vesicant chemotherapy. Patients actively receiving chemotherapy infusions are generally not assigned to a contracted professional unless they have completed the required courses or hold certification. The assignment duration is from 08/31/2026 to 11/29/2026.
