Bilingual Assistant Production Supervisor – 1st Shift

Custom Filters Direct | Bloomsburg, PA
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.

Custom Filters Direct is hiring a hands-on Bilingual Assistant Production Supervisor to support daily first-shift manufacturing operations. This position will assist the Production Supervisor with employee oversight, staffing coordination, production tracking, training, and maintaining an organized production floor.

The successful candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish, comfortable using computer software, and confident providing direction and holding employees accountable.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
• Must be available to remain after 3:30 p.m. when required
• Weekend overtime may be required based on production demands

Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Supervisor with daily production-floor operations
• Coordinate employee assignments and help monitor temporary staff
• Track attendance, staffing levels, production numbers, and employee performance
• Enter and maintain accurate information using spreadsheets and company software
• Communicate instructions and expectations in English and Spanish
• Monitor workflow and help the team meet production and quality goals
• Train, coach, and provide daily direction to production employees
• Address attendance, conduct, performance, and housekeeping concerns
• Document employee issues and assist with corrective action according to company policy
• Ensure employees clean and organize their workstations
• Assign cleaning responsibilities and verify that work is completed
• Assist with production-floor cleaning and organization when necessary
• Communicate staffing, production, quality, and employee concerns to management
• Remain actively involved and visible on the production floor throughout the shift

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Previous manufacturing or production experience
• Comfortable using computers, email, spreadsheets, and workplace software
• Strong communication, organization, and recordkeeping skills
• Confidence providing instructions and holding employees accountable
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work required overtime
• Ability to stand and walk throughout most of the shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as an assistant supervisor, production lead, line lead, or supervisor
• Experience coordinating temporary or agency employees
• Experience tracking production, attendance, staffing, or performance data
• Familiarity with employee coaching, documentation, and corrective-action procedures

Work Environment

This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The role requires regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and movement throughout the production floor. Employees may experience changing seasonal temperatures inside the facility.
