Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician for a travel assignment. This role involves supervising and coordinating the operations of Central Sterile services in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities of the Sterile Processing Technician

• Supervise and coordinate staff and daily operations of Central Sterile services
• Ensure staff compliance with sterilization techniques, policies, and procedures
• Document sterilization activities and maintain department records
• Serve as a liaison between Central Sterile department and perioperative areas
• Ensure proper care and handling of all instrumentation from the decontamination area
• Accept and tag fast tracks
• Assign daily job tasks to employees, making adjustments as necessary

Requirements of the Sterile Processing Technician

• Current Registered Central Supply Technician Certification (CRCST or CSPD), must not expire during the term of assignment
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Leadership/management experience
• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
• Ability to lift/carry 25 pounds
• Manual dexterity, ability to stand, bend, lift, and/or reach for extended periods
• Effective communication skills in English
