As an onsite specialist, you will apply your expertise as a school-based Occupational Therapist to deliver essential services directly to students. Collaborate with educators and families to support individualized educational goals in a welcoming and resource-rich atmosphere.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in New Mexico
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric occupational therapy setting preferred
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and maintaining thorough documentation
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to providing inclusive and adaptive interventions that help students reach their potential

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students’ abilities and create tailored intervention strategies for school-specific needs
• Deliver therapy sessions individually or in small groups, strictly onsite
• Monitor, document, and report on student progress to staff and guardians
• Adapt instruction to classroom environments and student IEPs
• Consult with teachers to promote classroom integration of therapeutic strategies
