About the Role

This Inside Sales Manager responds to Request for Quotes (RFQ) or Request for Proposals (RFP) from Ocenco Incorporated customers worldwide, generating contracts for the sale of products and services. The scope of work involves receiving inquiries, communicating with customers, inputting orders, and tracking the order through delivery. Additional tasks include contract management and market research.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular searches on government procurement portals to identify relevant opportunities for bid or quotation submissions.
• Prepare and submit bids or quotations tailored to specific customer needs in accordance with procurement portal guidelines.
• Request quotations from shipping and freight forwarding companies.
• Quote and fulfill non-standard government requests.
• Communicate with the prospective customer to understand appropriate product configuration requirements and objectives.
• Coordinate with internal teams, including engineering, purchasing, and production, to ensure proposal accuracy and feasibility.
• Assist in contract generation and management, ensuring all terms and conditions align with company policies and customer expectations.
• Proactively follow up with customers to address questions, inform of order status from production to final delivery, and address any complaints or shipping concerns.
• Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure accurate billing and timely collection from customers.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and relevant documentation in CRM system.
• Stay current with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive offerings to effectively position Ocenco's products in the market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Previous experience in sales, inside sales, or customer service is a plus.

Required Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey complex technical information clearly and persuasively.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in quotes, proposals, and contracts.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
