Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in the Vancouver and Portland Metro areas.Work ScheduleHours vary Monday – Friday 6:30 am to 6:30 pm overtime and rotating Saturdays may be requiredJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when needed, Reliable transportation requiredMinimum Qualifications:Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P)Valid Driver's License and good driving recordBe at least 21 years oldPreferred Qualifications:Phlebotomy certification or completed training program1 year or more experience as a mobile phlebotomistAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agencyAble to pass a standardized color blindness testFlexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metricsPay Range: $20.00 to $27.28 hourlyFloat Incentive: Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursementAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
