Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Utica, NY. This role demands an individual skilled in managing a high-acuity environment with a dynamic patient population including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities of the ED RN

• Provide high-quality care to patients with a wide range of conditions, including stroke, sepsis, trauma, and cardiac arrest
• Utilize specialized equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Monitor and administer drips including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, and sedation medications
• Effectively float between units as required
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to facility protocols

Requirements of the ED RN

• Active NY RN License verified through NURSYS
• 3+ years of ED experience with pediatric exposure
• Travel experience required
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
• TNCC certification is required
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
