The role requires working during the night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. The nurse will provide care in a high-acuity environment. Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients. The nurse will float between various critical care areas as needed. The unit has a total of 67 beds across different critical care settings. Nurse-patient ratios vary based on the unit. The nurse will utilize advanced monitoring equipment and EHR systems. Common patient diagnoses include respiratory failure, strokes, cardiogenic shock, and septic shock. Candidates should be prepared to manage advanced skills and critical care devices. All online learning and necessary certifications must be completed. The dress code requires scrub pants in royal blue, with specific guidelines for tops. Candidates must possess strong teamwork and communication skills. The ability to function effectively in critical situations is essential.
