At Atlantic Vision Partners we invest in our employees by providing on-site training and paid certifications for continued growth.What You'll DoObtain and document patient historyFollow office workup protocolsDetermine visual acuityPerform automated refractionAdminister eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions to the eye as ordered by a physicianPerform office duties and clinical tasks - enter data into EMR, provide patient servicesMeasurement of intraocular pressure (tonometry)Pre-operative preparation of patientMaintain equipment and instrumentsRequirementsDependable transportation required to travel to other offices as requiredMust be flexible with traveling to various locationsAbility to pay attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentialityThe ability to seek instruction in areas where he/she is not knowledgeableThe ability to recognize inconsistenciesHigh School diploma or GED, associate degree preferred2+ years of experience in eye care preferredAbility to perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodation, including the ability to use power hand tools and lift a minimum of 70 lbs.Excellent verbal communication skillsWillingness to submit to a background check (drug screen for Ambulatory Surgery Centers only)Pay Range: $17hr-$22hrActual compensation is determined based on qualifications, experience, certifications, internal equity, and business needs.Benefits May Include:Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k)Paid Time Off & HolidaysLife & Disability InsuranceTuition ReimbursementContinuing Education SupportCertification SponsorshipEmployee Eyewear DiscountsReferral Bonus OpportunitiesIf you're passionate about patient care, professional growth, and making a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you.
