Physical Therapist

Provide specialized outpatient, inpatient, and rehabilitation physical therapy services to patients within a community-based hospital setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care, utilizing advanced equipment and technology to improve recovery outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their needs.
• Administer physical therapy interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly using Meditech and Nethealth systems.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy exercises and injury prevention techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, COTAs, and RNs to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate patient needs, including occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Physical Therapy license and meet state licensure requirements.
• Possess 2 or more years of outpatient, inpatient, or rehab therapy experience.
• Demonstrate basic physical therapy skills as an independent clinician.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and adapt to evolving therapy approaches.
• Maintain a professional appearance with required uniform (light grey scrubs).
