Pilot in Command - Hawker 400XP

Position Overview Reynolds Jet is searching for a full-time crew member to serve as Pilot in Command for our Hawker 400XP at Cincinnati Lunken Municipal Airport (KLUK). The role will be part of a dedicated three‑person crew operating approximately 600 hours per year under Part 91 and Part 135 operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support and comply with all Reynolds Jet Safety and Quality Standards. Retain the final authority for the safe operation of the aircraft (14 CFR § 91.3) and make decisions to start, delay, cancel, or deviate from a flight as needed. Direct the activities of the SIC and any additional crewmembers, ensuring all understand and execute assigned duties. Participate proactively in the Safety Management System by seeking, identifying and reporting hazards and safety‑risk management deficiencies. Ensure a flight is not commenced if a crewmember is incapacitated due to injury, sickness, fatigue or other factors. Ensure the flight is not continued beyond the nearest suitable airfield if a crewmember becomes impaired. Determine proper fuel, oil and oxygen requirements for each flight. Obtain briefings on flight purpose, weather, NOTAMs and operating procedures and plan flight assignments accordingly. Prepare or supervise the preparation of flight plans, considering altitude, terrain, weather, weight and aircraft performance. Ensure compliance with all applicable CFRs and company procedures. Ensure the aircraft is operated within all weight and balance limits and documentation is properly recorded. Report all known or suspected FAA violations or incidents promptly to the Chief Pilot. Maintain required medical certification and notify the Chief Pilot of any condition that may impair performance. Ensure proper completion of preflight inspections and that all required equipment is onboard and operational. Ensure all passengers receive required safety briefings prior to each leg. Ensure completion of post‑flight duties including logs, maintenance write‑ups and communication with maintenance and flight following. Ensure the aircraft is airworthy, properly documented and prepared for flight. Ensure aircraft cleanliness, catering and passenger comfort standards are met. Operate in accordance with aircraft limitations and Reynolds Jet policies and procedures. Report hazardous weather or conditions to appropriate air traffic services. Maintain thorough knowledge of the General Operations Manual, FAA Regulations, Operations Specifications and Flight Manuals. Act as Ground Security Coordinator (GSC) and Inflight Security Coordinator (ISC) when required. Complete all required post‑flight reporting and documentation. Notify appropriate authorities in the event of an accident or incident per company SMS and ERP. Report suspected communicable diseases as required. May delegate duties but retains responsibility for all operational functions. Position Requirements Education: High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred. Licenses & Credentials: Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate (or restricted ATP if less than 1,500 flight hours); multi‑engine and instrument ratings; BE400XP type rating preferred or ability to obtain. Medical: Current First Class medical certificate. ICAO Qualifications: Must meet all applicable ICAO standards and qualifications. Other Requirements: Unrestricted ATP, First Class medical, valid U.S. passport, radio station license; must pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing and have a favorable PRIA; candidate must live or be willing to move within a 2‑hour drive of LUK airport.
