About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Internal Medicine MD in New Britain, Connecticut, 06052!

We are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine Physician for a 120-day assignment in Connecticut, starting Jun 22, 2026. This role involves working 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, focusing on teaching and supervising residents during patient encounters, conducting patient examinations, providing constructive feedback, and overseeing administrative tasks. Our client is looking for a dedicated professional to support their team in a precepting role.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Teaching and supervising residents during patient encounters
• Examining patients jointly with residents (and directly with interns from July through December)
• Providing constructive verbal feedback and completing written evaluations in a timely manner
• Overseeing inbox management, prescription requests, and related administrative tasks

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine required
• Must be an Internal medicine trained physician with primary care experience
