Work directly with school-aged children, providing essential speech and language services while growing your own skills under the mentorship of experienced, licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences, or a related field, or an Associate degree from an SLPA program
• Current, active SLPA certification or license
• Solid oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities—capable of working efficiently under pressure and in crisis situations with staff and families
• Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites as needed during the school day
• Ability to provide services on site according to each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver both direct and indirect speech and language services to students per their IEPs
• Collaborate closely with supervising SLPs and educational staff to ensure high-quality care
• Document progress and engage families in the therapeutic process
• Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing professional development initiatives
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards governing school-based speech services
