Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing, or higher
• Current, valid RN license in state of practice or compact RN licensure
• BLS and ACLS required
• PALS certification required within 90 days of start date if assigned to pediatric services
• Minimum one-year licensed RN experience in OR required for full-time or part-time roles; minimum two years for PRN roles

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.
• Formulate and implement a plan of care that includes patient-specific needs, assessment data, and the medical plan of care.
• Evaluate the patient's and family's response to care, adjusting plans as necessary in collaboration with health care team members.
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate activities of the health care team, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
• Document all aspects of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in the education and orientation of personnel, patients, and families, promoting growth through mentoring when appropriate.

Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements. Provides excellent service to all customers, consistently demonstrating core and leader behaviors.
