Registered Nurse – Telemetry (EPIC)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | 36–48 Hours Per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients throughout an assigned shift
• Prescribe and implement nursing care based on the nursing process, consistent with the medical plan of care and patient/family input
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate and deliver patient care
• Incorporate patient teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care
• Delegate appropriate aspects of patient care delivery to other nursing staff based on clinical competence and legal scope of practice

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of hire
• Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia interpretation required during orientation
• EPIC experience required; candidates must have EPIC and Cerner experience within the last 5 years
• Each work history entry must document the charting/EMR system used, including date ranges if multiple systems were used within a single position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Acute care facility experience
