Veterinary Receptionist

Job Description

Veterinary Receptionist –Full or part time position. DePorre Veterinary Hospital is a multi-doctor; AAHA accredited veterinary hospital located in Bloomfield Hills. We are a fast paced hospital looking for a quick learner that works well with a team and is able to prioritize and multi-task well.

Requirements of this position are the following:

2+ years of customer service experience in retail/restaurant/professional setting.
Clear and concise communicator.
Ability to anticipate client needs.
Experience using multi-line phones, computer proficient and able to use basic office equipment.
Ability to work days (open from 7:15 am-6:00 pm Monday-Friday and some Saturdays (7:15 am-2:00 pm).
Veterinary experience a plus.
The ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities Include:

Answering phone calls, making appointments, checking in/out clients.
Providing exceptional customer service.
Processing communications regarding patients.
Efficiently and accurately invoice clients (exams, surgeries, hospital stays, medications).
Client education.
Light cleaning.
