Highly motivated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are invited to bring their expertise to a rewarding contract opportunity serving a vibrant school community near Clovis, NM. With a full-time schedule and the chance to support a diverse caseload across multiple sites, this role offers both variety and the opportunity to make a significant impact.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- School-based SLP experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are welcome to apply
- Ability to work across multiple sites as part of an itinerant team
- Adaptability to serve a range of ages and populations, specific caseload to be determined
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities and a commitment to student growth
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and diagnostic services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student development
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports according to school guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to personalized education plans
- Manage workflows for multiple school sites, adjusting to varying student needs
