The HR Generalist is responsible for performing broad professional human resources tasks to support policies and programs including benefit programs, employee relations, recruiting and HRIS, responds to employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures. Resolves employee concerns using employee relations skills and methodologies.Essential FunctionsImplement HR initiatives (strategies and policies)Manage full-cycle recruitment process for Gibson (including manufacturing facilities)Manage and assist with facilitation of New Hire Orientation, lead in HR onboardingCreating a positive work environment through relationship buildingBenefits support (open enrollment, maintenance, plan knowledge/support)Employee relationsSupport with time-card entries for payroll (as needed)Adhere to compliance for State and Federal regulationsEnsure accurate record keeping and reportingAdhere to record retention including document control and managementEnforce safety and sanitation regulationsOther duties as assignedProjects and/or other duties as requested by Senior Management, HR and Production teamsBe an integral member of various project teams to change/improve processes as the company evolvesOther dutiesEstablishes and maintains strong relationships with Team Members in all locations so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutionsLeverages strengths of the current HR team members, helping to clarify roles and responsibilities and develop and implement training programs in order to maximize and reach optimal individual and organizational goalsProvides leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels; creating and promoting a positive and supportive work environmentLeads in Change Management and process improvement initiatives.
