Overview

On behalf of a well-renowned fintech client, we are seeking a high-calibre Graduate / Junior Software Developer to join their front-office technology team in St. Petersburg, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Computer Science graduate (or equivalent) with up to 1 year of experience to work on mission-critical systems in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

The Role

You will be joining a high-performing front-office technology team, developing and maintaining applications that directly support traders and product managers. This role offers a steep learning curve and the chance to write clean, scalable code for revenue-generating systems while being mentored by senior engineers in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Developing and maintaining high-performance applications supporting front-office users
Collaborating closely with traders, product managers, and senior engineers to deliver new features
Writing clean, scalable code and contributing to system improvements
Participating in code reviews and learning from top-tier technical talent
Supporting mission-critical, high-impact financial systems

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or closely related field) from a top-tier university
0–1 year of professional experience using Python and/or Java
Exposure to financial technology, trading, or revenue-generating systems (internships included)
Strong fundamental understanding of algorithms and data structures
A proactive attitude and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
