Senior Director, HR M&A and Integration

Cencora seeks a Senior Director to lead human resources strategy for mergers and acquisitions, managing due diligence, integration planning, and workforce transition from pre-deal through year one. The role partners with executive leadership, business units, and HR teams to identify people-related risks, design organizational solutions, and execute integration activities that support transaction objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HR due diligence to identify workforce, organizational, and cultural risks in M&A transactions
• Develop and execute HR integration strategies and workforce transition plans supporting Day 1 readiness
• Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to align talent and organizational priorities with transaction goals
• Assess organizational readiness and monitor workforce metrics and integration milestones throughout lifecycle
• Collaborate on future-state organizational design, structures, and operating model alignment with strategic objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in HR, organizational psychology, business administration, or related field
• 10+ years experience in global M&A, human resources, strategy, or consulting
• Deep expertise leading HR due diligence and integration planning for complex transactions
• Experience translating business objectives into workforce and organizational strategies
• Master's degree or MBA in organizational development, business, or HR preferred
• Knowledge of labor, employment compliance, and HR-related transaction oversight
