Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Texas Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred, including evaluation, plan of care development, and documentation in an outpatient setting.
• Experience with orthopedic and musculoskeletal patient populations preferred.
• Ability to complete timely, concise, and accurate medical record documentation, including goal writing and charge entry.
• Comfort supervising and delegating to therapy assistants or students, and participating in student clinical education when assigned.
• Demonstrated adherence to state practice act, professional standards, and compliance with clinic policies.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Outpatient.
• Schedule: 5x8 (days).
• Start: Assignment begins mid-July; duration 13 weeks.
• Typical clinic days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday schedule noted by client; shift hours include day coverage within clinic hours.
• Responsibilities include performing comprehensive evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, documentation, and promoting patient and employee safety.
