Adjunct Instructor, Surgical Technology

Role Overview The Clinical Instructor will be a clinical resource person for the Surgical Technology students and will be responsible for their assignments and clinical evaluations. Qualifications & Responsibilities Associate degree, Certified Surgical Technologist. A Clinical Instructor for the Surgical Technology program must be a credentialed surgical technologist with current certification (CST) and relevant clinical experience in the operating room. The instructor should demonstrate proficiency in surgical procedures, aseptic technique, instrumentation, and operating room protocols. Prior experience working with students in a clinical or educational setting is preferred but not mandatory. The Clinical Instructor must also possess strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to mentor students while ensuring adherence to clinical site policies, accreditation standards, and patient safety requirements. Schedule Days and times may vary depending on the semester and clinical schedule. We can be flexible regarding the days/hours the adjunct will work per week.
