- Deliver direct patient care for a defined group of patients using the nursing process.
- Monitor patients on telemetry, interpret alarms and data, respond to changes, and administer medications per protocol.
- Coordinate with physicians, case managers, and other disciplines to plan and adjust patient care.
- Document all care in the electronic health record with accurate, timely notes; ensure continuity of care across shifts.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff on the unit, and delegate tasks as appropriate.
- Maintain patient safety and unit readiness; adhere to standards of care, infection control, and patient privacy; clock in to the unit being worked when assigned to Float Pool duties per department guidelines. Requirements
- Active RN license in California
- Graduation from an approved nursing program (ASN/BSN accepted)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Telemetry nursing experience preferred; strong clinical skills for acute care environments
- Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts; willingness to collaborate in a fast-paced setting; able to meet assignment start date and travel credentialing requirements Benefits and Support
