Remote Paid Search Lead — Performance Max & ROI Focus

LaSalle Network is looking to hire a Paid Search contractor for one of our B2B clients in downtown Chicago. This role will own the strategy and execution of lower-funnel paid search campaigns, with a strong emphasis on Google Performance Max, conversion-driven search, and ROI-focused optimization. This is fully remote contract for 2-3 months with the potential to extend beyond this! What You’ll Do Own end-to-end paid search strategy and execution across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, with a heavy focus on lower-funnel and conversion-driven campaigns Build, manage, and optimize Performance Max campaigns, including asset strategy, audience signals, and feed-based initiatives Develop and optimize search, shopping, and remarketing campaigns to drive revenue, leads, and efficiency Partner closely with analytics teams to ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and reporting Conduct ongoing testing across keywords, creative, landing pages, and bidding strategies Prepare clear, insightful performance reporting and present results to internal stakeholders and clients Stay current on Google Ads platform updates and best practices, especially around automation and AI-driven solutions What You Have 3+ years of hands-on paid search experience Proven experience managing lower-funnel paid search campaigns with a performance mindset 2+ years' experience in Google Performance Max Experience with conversion tracking, attribution models, and performance measurement Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights Key Details: This position pays $35/hr-$40/hr (W2 only) based on years of experience.
